WELLNESS WEEK | Winter Nature-Based Mindfulness Walk in Tatton Park

The Wellness Webb are bringing you this free event, as part of Knutsford’s ‘Health & Wellness Week’.
Getting outside to slowly walk & connect with nature it’s great for stress, boosting our physical & emotional health. It can give new perspectives, different from those we encounter indoors or on our digital devices. We know that most people in modern life are living in a state of “nature-deficit disorder”. Being in nature affects our physical and emotional well-being, even just a little exposure to green spaces boosts happiness and attention. There is much research backing the benefits of walking in a natural environment, & we are lucky to have the beautiful park of Tatton to explore in this way. It can be harder to get outside in nature in the winter months, but there are many benefits, if we make the effort.

Meet Clare at the main entrance gates to Tatton Park and take a mindful wander through the park to the waters edge. Then we stop-off in the woods, for a nature-based mindfulness meditation practice, before heading back to the entrance. The session will last approx. 45 mins, but obviously you are more than welcome to continue your own wanderings at leisure.

Clare is a Certified Mindfulness Coach & a Certified Nature Connection Facilitator.
