The hugely popular Knutsford Makers Market returns this Sunday, bringing a vibrant mix of independent traders, artisan food, live entertainment, and family friendly activities to the town centre.
Taking place alongside the town’s much anticipated Royal May Day and May Fair celebrations, this weekend promises to be one of the busiest and most exciting of the year in Knutsford.
For the first time, the Makers Market will also extend into the renovated Knutsford Market Hall. A selection of Makers Market traders will be showcased inside the hall alongside its established businesses, creating a unique indoor and outdoor market experience for visitors.
Across Princess Street and Silk Mill Street, visitors can explore over 150 stalls, featuring a wide range of local independent businesses, handmade goods, artisan produce, gifts, and more.
Inside the Market Hall, traders include: The Market Café, Sweet. Knutsford, Cheshire Party Store, Market Hall Barber, Slipped Discs, Hot Cocoa, Market Hall Butcher and Deli, Knutsford Mobile, and York & Co ~ The Grocer.
The event will also feature a full day of entertainment, including live music performances from Keira Bradley and 2BEATZ, as well as children’s activities such as face painting and free crafts.
A strong street food offering will keep visitors fuelled throughout the day, with vendors serving everything from dumplings and crepes to gourmet grilled cheese, Greek cuisine, loaded hotdogs, and slow-cooked brisket.
