Knutsford Music Festival was launched in 2017 as a community music festival led by Knutsford Town Council. It brings together venues across Knutsford to create a weekend of musical events covering a range of genres, typically across three days.
Thursday 5th June, Friday 6th June and Sunday 8th June – Folk Nights with Mark Radcliffe
Mark Radcliffe is set to host three nights featuring performances by Katherine Priddy, an Evening of Irish music and a big folk singalong. Katherine Priddy, celebrated for her emotionally resonant songwriting and captivating live performances, has garnered acclaim from notable figures such as Guy Garvey and Mark Radcliffe himself.
Friday 6th June – AMC Gospel Choir
AMC Gospel – A night of atmospheric Soul & R&B with one of the UK’s top live-performance Gospel Choirs. Creating soundscapes that will tingle the body and warm the heart, presenting audiences with their harmonious vocal blend.
Saturday 7th June – Blues Night @ The Little Theatre
The Blues Night featuring Vincent Flatts Band with Simister and Small supporting at Knutsford Little Theatre. This intimate venue sets the perfect stage for an evening of soulful melodies, powerful guitar riffs, and unforgettable performances.
If you’re a blues fan, this is definitely a night to look forward to!
Saturday 7th June – Music on the Moor
Music on the Moor is an exciting, open-air free event that takes place on Saturday, June 7th, offering a fantastic day of free live music in a beautiful setting and accessible environment . Best of all, it’s completely free to attend, meaning that everyone can enjoy the music, the community vibe, and the celebration of talent.
As well as live performances, Music on the Moor features craft and dance workshops, local vendors, and family-friendly activities, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. The festival has featured big names in music in its short life including Dodgy, Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff and folk superstar John Smith, with other big names due to appear in the 2025 line-up.
