HERITAGE OPEN DAYS | St Cross Church, Bell Tower Tour

Climb to the highest viewpoint in Knutsford and enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the town from the bell tower of St Cross Church.
Please note that access to the bell tower is via steep, narrow staircases, ladders and confined walkways. The tour is therefore not suitable for anyone with claustrophobia, a fear of heights, limited mobility or those who may find climbing difficult.
For your safety, sturdy, flat footwear (such as trainers) must be worn. Open-toed shoes, sandals and high heels are not permitted, and anyone wearing unsuitable footwear will unfortunately be unable to take part in the tour.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for climbing ladders and navigating restricted spaces. The tightest point is a gate measuring 15inches wide.
Due to the nature of the tour, places are strictly limited, booking is essential, and the tour is not suitable for children under 16 years of age.
Weather conditions may affect the ability to access the rooftop.

Tours take place at 11:30am and 1:45pm. Booking required.

Once you have finished the bell tower tour, you are very welcome to explore St Cross Church at your own pace. Self-guided visits do not require booking.
