FAMILY | The Rookery Equine Cheshire Horse Show

Our event combines top showing and competition action with an entertainment-filled family event. The show encompasses a huge variety of equestrian classes from the spectacular national Show Jumping competitions to extensive showing classes to the enthralling Shire horse displays.

Family Fun – We have activities for all the family, including displays, demonstrations and a fabulous fun fair.

Fun Dog Show – Bring your four legged friends along to take part in our fun dog show and get involved in all the action.

Farmers Market – Delicious treats to take home, original gifts or a treat for your pet, we are proud to support local farmers and businesses at our Farmer’s Market.

Famous Fancy Dress – Must have a hard hat and a pony – but that’s the only rule! The costumes get more outlandish every year and is always a favourite for visitors to watch.

Showing – The largest one day equestrian event in the North West featuring classes from miniatures to Shires, and everything in between.
