A Saturday afternoon talk by local historian and author Jenny Collis. Come and learn about the people who were detained in Knutsford Prison and some of the punishments meted out to them. Find out about the escapees and the eight men who were hung there. Discover how the prison was re-purposed during World War I and how and when it was finally closed and demolished.
