SUMMARY:WELLBEING | Move-a-thon 2025 in aid of Stable Minds
DESCRIPTION:Get moving to support the mental health of your community!! Join us at Satya Sanctuary for a full day of back-to-back classes\, all in support of Stable Minds\, a local Knutsford charity providing free\, trauma-informed mental health care. \nSince opening their doors in 2023\, Stable Minds has supported over 2\,000 people in our community\, offering one-to-one therapy and a welcoming drop-in hub with no waiting lists\, no thresholds\, no judgement. \nBut right now\, they’re facing one of their toughest challenges yet. Despite growing demand\, Stable Minds has never received core funding to cover day-to-day running costs. Because of their postcode\, grant applications are often turned away\, even though the need in our area is real and urgent. \nEvery day in the UK\, 19 people lose their life to suicide. Stable Minds was created to be part of the solution\, but without urgent support\, they may have to close their doors. \n💙 We don’t want to see that happen.\n💙 We don’t want to turn people away.\n💙 To keep going\, they need us. \nLet’s come together as a community and help keep this vital safe space open. \n👉 £50 gives you access to every class\, do as many as you like! We’ll have three classes running on the hour every hour from 7am-7pm including Yoga\, Barre\, Reformer\, Sound Baths and more! Every body\, ability and person is welcome! New to the studio? It’s great to meet you! Studio regular? Welcome home! \nEvery single penny will go to Stable Minds with our incredible studio teachers and wider community offering their time for free to support this incredible cause! \n📅 Saturday 18th October\n📍 Satya Sanctuary\, Knutsford \n🎟️ Plus! We’ll be running a raffle with amazing prizes\, including a month’s unlimited membership\, a brand-new laptop\, and many other fantastic goodies!

But would you know what to do in an emergency? \nJoin us for a friendly coffee morning and learn the simple skills that could help save someone’s life. \nHosted by Knutsford Community First Responder Trust and Knutsford Hearing Centre\nKnutsford Methodist Church\, Princess Street\nSaturday 25th October\n10am – 12 noon \nEveryone is welcome – pop in\, enjoy a coffee\, and gain confidence in using a defibrillator. \nHearing experts from Knutsford Hearing Centre will also be on hand for free advice on any ear and hearing questions people may have.
