Join us for great food\, drinks and Christmas spirit. 12-7pm Saturdays 30th November and 11-4pm Sunday 1stDecember. \nAlso on Saturday 30th November the stage will be set for a full day of live entertainment featuring choirs from the local primary schools\, dancing performances and local singers. The stage will be presented by Silk FM who\, with the help of the Mayor of Knutsford and special guests\, will switch on our Christmas Lights in Canute Place at 6pm. Headlining the event will be local band The Breakfast Club. \nCatch a glimpse of Santa on his sleigh at 5.30pm as he makes his was along King Street\, up Minshull Street for Canute Place where he will join the Mayor on stage. The Santa parade will feature music from City of Chester Brass Band and Anna and Elsa! \nChildren’s Adventure Farm Trust will be raising money for their charity (CAFT) in this years grotto which can be found on Silk Mill Street\, outside the Market Hall. The grotto will be open Saturday 30th November 12-4pm and Sunday 1st December 11-4pm. No booking necessary. \nWe are grateful to our brilliant sponsors this year without whom the festive weekend would not be possible. A band that is both perpetually on the move and joyously independent\, since forming in 2006\, they have played over 1150 side-splitting shows to date\, and have brought smiles and belly-laughs to audiences across the UK; from Barnsley to Barnstaple\, from Glastonbury to Glasgow. They continue to wow audiences with their anarchic live shows and a fine selection of their greatest hits\, including the likes of “Jump Ararnd”\, “The Lady In Greggs”\, “How Deep Is Your Glove?”\, “Paint ’em Back” and “If I Could Punch A Face… It’d Be Justin Bieber’s”. \nThey have written and recorded eleven studio albums\, independently released over 40 live recordings\, successfully crowd-funded eight separate independent vinyl releases\, played on top of mountains\, wowed-festival goers across the length and breadth of the UK\, had five different beers brewed and named in their honour\, sold-out four consecutive shows on a Mississippi paddle-steamer on the Norfolk Broads in less than 30 seconds\, hosted their own sell-out music and comedy festival\, written & performed in their own musical\, are featured in the Experience Barnsley Museum Music Archives\, hold the bar-takings record for at least ten theatres\, have been the recipients of six different individual awards\, as voted for by the public in the Barnsley Music Awards\, played the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festival\, and to 20\,000+ people at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention\, and even scaled the dizzy heights of a #1 and a #2 single and a #2 album on the iTunes Comedy Charts (plus a National chart position in the Top 100)! Not bad for a daft little unsigned comedy folk band from Barnsley\, eh?

DESCRIPTION:Knutsford Pumpkin Path is an annual Halloween themed trail event held in Knutsford Town Centre at Halloween. The event was initially organised by a group of residents alongside its ‘sister’ event Knutsford Bunny Hop. The Pumpkin Path was handed over to the Town Council in 2017 who have organised the event since. \nFamilies can find the pumpkins hidden around the town centre in shop windows\, each of which has a letter carved into it. You note down the letter on your entry forms and completed entry forms can then be posted into dedicated post boxes to enter a prize draw! \nThis event is traditionally held on Halloween evening between 4-7pm with roads closed on King Street and Minshull Street\, and the event taking place across King Street\, Minshull Street\, Regent Street and Wallwood with fun at games at the Market Hall on Silk Mill Street and some involvement from businesses on Princess Street and Canute Place. \nAs well as the trail families can enjoy lots of extra entertainment on the night including singing and dance performances\, spooky characters available for photo opportunities\, Halloween themed window displays\, competitions and other activities. Feel free to dress up too if you’d like – there might even be prizes for this on the day! \nPlenty of our amazing local businesses take part during the event so look out for their ‘Pumpkin Path’ posters in their windows for special promotions and giveaways!
