DESCRIPTION:Knutsford Music Festival was launched in 2017 as a community music festival led by Knutsford Town Council. \nIt brings together venues across Knutsford to create a weekend of musical events covering a range of genres\, typically across three days. \nEvery year we put together a programme of musical events\, including a free outdoor stage in the park and the ever popular Folk at the Theatre in partnership with BBC’s Mark Radcliffe. The programme is completed with an array of pop-up performances across venues in the town centre. \nThe Knutsford Music Festival is back for its 9th year. With an exciting line-up of new acts\, the festival promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all kinds. Knutsford will once again transform into a vibrant hub for live music\, offering a mix of genres\, from folk and country to pop and latino\, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the town’s beautiful venues. \n4th June | Knutsford Little Theatre \nWidely regarded as the hottest Western Swing band east of El Paso\, The Rip Roaring Success are renowned for their energetic stage presence and crowd-pleasing performances. \nThey will be supported by The Rye Sisters\, an emerging duo celebrated for their rich harmonies and heartfelt song writing. \n5th June | St John’s Church \nRanagri are an award-winning Irish-English folk ensemble celebrated for their mesmerising blend of voices and traditional instrumentation\, including flutes\, whistles\, harp\, guitar\, bouzouki\, and bodhrán. \nWith five acclaimed studio albums\, including the critically praised Tradition II\, listed among Folk Radio UK’s Top 10 albums of the year\, Ranagri have established themselves as one of the most exciting and innovative acts on the contemporary folk scene. \n6th June | The Moor \nA free outdoor event with live music\, craft and dance workshops\, local vendors\, and family activities\, offering a day of community fun and great performances. Headlining the music on the Moor festival is Manchester band Pomona Park! \n6th June | St John’s Church \nDust off your boots and get ready for our first Country Music Night featuring Outpost Drive and Jake O’Neill—bringing you high-energy modern country mixed with the storytelling sound you know and love. \nFrom crowd-favourite covers to original songs that hit close to home\, Outpost Drive delivers a full-band country experience that keeps the dance floor moving\, while Jake O’Neill sets the tone with heartfelt vocals and authentic country roots \n7th June | Knutsford Little Theatre \nTrue Foxes are set to take the stage in an unmissable performance\, supported by the talented Edwina Hayes. The evening will feature live performances of Salsa\, Bachata\, Cha Cha and other Latin styles\, bringing the vibrant rhythms and sounds of Cuba to the heart of Knutsford. \nNo previous dance experience is needed. Throughout the evening there will be short and informal dance sessions to help you get started\, along with plenty of time to dance at your own pace\, watch from the side lines\, or simply enjoy the music. There will also be performances from professional dancers\, offering a chance to see the styles up close and get inspired. Salsa Dance Cheshire will be showcasing and teaching moves to suit all levels. \nWith a licensed bar and snack available to purchase on the night\, it’s an easy-going and enjoyable way to spend an evening at the Market Hall\, whether you’re there to dance\, listen\, or soak up the atmosphere. \nPlease note: \nSeating will be available throughout the evening\, but this is primarily a immersive\, social event rather than a seated concert and therefore people may need to stand.
