DESCRIPTION:Saturday 1st November 2025\nStarts at 7.00pm\nRaising funds for the conservation of vultures \nIn conjunction with Macc Malt Tastings\, Gauntlet Conservation Trust will be hosting this charity evening at Gauntlet Birds of Prey\, Knutsford to raise funds for the conservation of vultures in Africa. Neil Raval of Macc Malt Tastings will take you on a guided journey with 6 specially selected malt whiskies. \nThe evening will include a pie and peas supper*\, a chat about conservation issues surrounding vultures and you’ll get the opportunity to meet some Gauntlet’s team (with and without feathers). \nThere will be a live auction during the evening of malt whiskies. \nAll proceeds from the evening will go directly to the Gauntlet Conservation Trust and will be used to fund vulture conservation projects in Africa. Gauntlet Conservation Trust is a registered charity. But then there are always those bigger\, national causes that forever will mean so much to us….and right at up there at the front of that list is anything we can do to support our Armed Forces. \nEvery single one of us owes this incredible group of men and women so much. Throughout our history it is their sacrifice that has enabled us each to have the lives we lead\, and in this turbulent time when Bears and Pandas are shifting the board around\, it is such an honour to know that we have the best there is on our side. \nSo we have been looking for a long time to find the perfect way we could show our appreciation\, and also support them as best we can. It turns out that one of our lovely regulars\, Matthew Flood and his company Vestey are THE principle manufacturer of Army Rations that keep our troops on the move…. \nNow this isn’t the porridge and tinned beans you might expect…these are balanced and nutritious meals that actually taste AMAZING…and what’s more…there’s no washing up\, and the theatre of is it is amazing! Thanks to the wonders of chemistry you can cook these yourself using nothing but a little tablet and a bit of water! \nWith some pretty damn amazing generosity Matt has donated a load of these 3 course meals…why you might ask? Because we are doing a fundraising Dinner all in aid of Help For Heroes! \nHosted at the newly developed Knutsford Market Hall\, on Saturday November 8th we are holding a dinner where can get to live like a soldier\, dine like a marine\, and party like a pilot! \nEach of you will receive a 3 course meal that you can prepare yourself at the table\, eat with the obligatory SPORK\, as well as drink like a sailor as we will be hosting a bar at the event too….the menus themselves will be YOURS TO CHOOSE FROM (accommodating for vegetarians too) with some amazing comfort food dishes like from curry to casserole\, pasta to pilaf\, stews to stroganoffs…and each accompanied with some tantalising appetisers\, and rib tickling desserts. \nAll the money from your ticket will be going straight to Help For Heroes\, who do amazing work in supporting serving military\, as well as veterans in their times of need. \nTickets are limited to how many we can physically fit in…so be quick…this one will not last and will always mean a lot… \nHeld on Saturday November 8th from 7pm…one sitting\, one chance\, every bit of thanks!

DESCRIPTION:Knutsford Town Council and the Knutsford Branch of the Royal British Legion invite the community to join the services of remembrance on Sunday 9th November. \nThe programme for the day is as follows: \n09:00-10:00       Community Remembrance Church Service at St Johns Church \n10:10-10:25       Parade assembles at King St Car Park \n10:25-10:45       Parade to Centennial War Memorial \n10:55-11:35       Service at the Centennial War Memorial \n12:00-12:25       Service at the Crosstown War Memorial \n12:45-13:05       Service at the Tatton Park Parachute Regiment Memorial \n13:30-13:35       Town Mayor to lay wreath at Centennial Place Memorial Garden \nThe church service at St John’s will take place before the parade and the parade will march to the Centennial War Memorial. \nThe whole community is welcome to join any or all parts of the day. \nThe principal wreath laying will take place at the Centennial War Memorial and organisations wishing to lay a wreath are requested to advise Gemma Jackson\, Civic Events Officer\, in advance by emailing gemma.jackson@knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk. Only those who have notified the Civic Events Officer in advance will be called up to lay a wreath on the day. \nAfter the main services of remembrance\, the Town Mayor will also lay a wreath in the Centennial Place memorial garden at 1:30pm.

DESCRIPTION:Time: 6.00pm to 8.00pm (doors open at 5.55pm)\nDuration: 2 hours\nAge group: All ages\nExtras: Included in the event is a choice of two types of soup and a roll to warm you up for the evening\, plus a hot or cold drink.\nParking: Parking is free at the park\, we have plenty of spaces in front of the main park building. \nThe ‘Owls by Moonlight’ event is a great opportunity to see Gauntlet’s owls fly after dark. These events run from September through to March each year. \nThe event starts indoors at 6.00pm\, when you’ll meet some of our smaller owls. \nYou will then be guided through the park to our magical night time flying arena where you will experience a moonlit flying display like no other. Watch as owls swoop silently overhead\, and if you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of one of the local wild owls! \nTickets are £20 for children under 16 and £30 for adults.

DESCRIPTION:Knutsford Christmas Market is a two-day festive street market that is held at the end of November or beginning of December each year. The market features feature over 120 traders per day selling the finest foods\, drinks\, crafts and gifts in the area – the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping! \nThis year the market will be a 2 day event on Princess Street\, Silk Mill Street and the middles section of King Street\, bringing the whole town alive with Christmas spirit. \nThe market usually runs from 12-7pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday of the weekend. \nIn 2018 we introduced a Park and Ride service which offers a free shuttle bus service for market visitors\, running from Booths Hall (WA16 8GS) to Knutsford Bus Station. The shuttle runs for the duration of the market weekend\, offering a free service back and forth to the town centre. The service was introduced to reduce burden on town centre car parks and offer more parking opportunities for visitors to the popular event. \nWith live entertainment\, hot food\, mulled wine and more – where better to get in the festive spirit?
