DESCRIPTION:Knutsford Christmas Market is a two-day festive street market that is held at the end of November or beginning of December each year. The market features feature over 120 traders per day selling the finest foods\, drinks\, crafts and gifts in the area – the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping! \nThis year the market will be a 2 day event on Princess Street\, Silk Mill Street and the middles section of King Street\, bringing the whole town alive with Christmas spirit. \nThe market usually runs from 12-7pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday of the weekend. \nIn 2018 we introduced a Park and Ride service which offers a free shuttle bus service for market visitors\, running from Booths Hall (WA16 8GS) to Knutsford Bus Station. The shuttle runs for the duration of the market weekend\, offering a free service back and forth to the town centre. The service was introduced to reduce burden on town centre car parks and offer more parking opportunities for visitors to the popular event. \nWith live entertainment\, hot food\, mulled wine and more – where better to get in the festive spirit?

DESCRIPTION:The Mayor of Knutsford\, Cllr Colin Banks is inviting  families to join him in The Methodist Church on Saturday 7th December for the annual community crib service. \nThe service\, which is led by Mayor’s Chaplain Revd Paul Deakin\, starts at 4pm lasting around one hour and includes a festive Christmas message from the Mayor who has chosen some of his favourite carols for the event. The carols will be led by the Chester Brass Band and a local primary school choir. \nColin said: “I’m looking forward to attending the Community Crib Service\, this is event is for all: young and old\, and I hope you can join me as we get into the festive spirit.” \nComplimentary mulled wine and mince pies will be served by the Knutsford Catenians.

DESCRIPTION:Discover Knutsford this festive season for shopping\, entertainment\, and celebration! \nView the Event Programme Here \nThe weekend of 30th November and 1st December welcomes the Christmas cheer with Knutsford’s Christmas Markets\, two days of the finest artisan market stalls. Join us for great food\, drinks and Christmas spirit. 12-7pm Saturdays 30th November and 11-4pm Sunday 1stDecember. \nAlso on Saturday 30th November the stage will be set for a full day of live entertainment featuring choirs from the local primary schools\, dancing performances and local singers. The stage will be presented by Silk FM who\, with the help of the Mayor of Knutsford and special guests\, will switch on our Christmas Lights in Canute Place at 6pm. Headlining the event will be local band The Breakfast Club. \nCatch a glimpse of Santa on his sleigh at 5.30pm as he makes his was along King Street\, up Minshull Street for Canute Place where he will join the Mayor on stage. The Santa parade will feature music from City of Chester Brass Band and Anna and Elsa! \nChildren’s Adventure Farm Trust will be raising money for their charity (CAFT) in this years grotto which can be found on Silk Mill Street\, outside the Market Hall. The grotto will be open Saturday 30th November 12-4pm and Sunday 1st December 11-4pm. No booking necessary. \nWe are grateful to our brilliant sponsors this year without whom the festive weekend would not be possible.
